Upon graduating from Columbia School of Social Work, I worked at a community clinic in Queens providing therapy to children and families. I attended Washington Square Institute where I received additional training in individual psychotherapy and developed a private practice.
My success as a psychotherapist resulted in me being promoted to more administrative roles and I became the deputy director at Boys & Girls Harbor and then the CEO at The Guidance Center of Westchester; a major mental health and substance use agency. Overall, The Guidance Center expanded its programs and community impact during my tenure.
Now I have returned to being a psychotherapist, a role I greatly enjoy and one where I have been able to help others understand the reasons for their thoughts and behaviors and make the necessary changes to move forward.
"I never believed that therapy could help me but my friends were right in pushing me to find someone who could help and you have helped a lot in more ways than you can imagine."
